We are a 4 piece covers band from Lincolnshire (UK).
We play all of the best tracks from all of your favourite indie bands, whether it be for a pub gig or for your own private event.
I started out being a massive Oasis fan really which inspired me to learn their songs on acoustic many years ago now.
Although I liked other stuff such as linkin park, RHCP etc. Oasis style was just mostly my thing. Later in life the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight & Kasabian came to lighT, so I started playing more their styles.
I was in various bands in the past but nothing too serious and played the odd open jam nights. Then i just stopped and the playing music kinda phased out for a while due to being too busy and picking up a guitar became rare. When lockdown hit I got 3 weeks of furlough and found myself bored so i picked up my telecaster and it was like being born again. I thought I dont really fit the Slash or Joe Perry style so decided an indie rock band would be best and thats where indiestructible was born.
I started playing guitar at around the age of 10 years old at primary school. I started because I really wanted to get out of singing lessons in assembly. I quickly started to enjoy it and wanted to practice more and more at home. After a while, I gave up for a few years, whilst I enjoyed spending time doing other things. When I turned 21, I decided to pick up the guitar again and bought myself a fender telecaster. Because it had been a while since I last played I basically had to start from scratch!
I’ve played for a few bands but due to Covid and other things these all stopped. In 2022, when we were allowed to finally start living again myself and Craig got in contact with each other about starting a band. We met each other a few times, but it took a while for Craig to find the right people to complete the line up, but this was the start of IndieStructible was
Born in the everglades of deepest darkest Essex, raised by rattlesnakes on a diet of Jack Daniels and Marlboroughs to perfect those rock vocal tones.
I emigrated north to Lincolnshire in 1992 where at the time I was heavily into rave and hardcore dance music. It wasn't long after that one of my new friends lent me a copy of Appetite for destruction.. I was hooked by the crashing drums and cymbals, the rhythmic guitars and the screeching melt your face off solos, it was love at first listen.
I bought my first guitar some time after, it was a Childs nylon string classical guitar from Argos, I used this to learn all the basics and chord shapes etc. I made do with that guitar until my friend lent me a proper Yamaha acoustic which only survived a short time before being smashed up at a drunken party.
Nowadays I use two main guitars, My Fender Telecaster and my Gibson Les Paul. I absolutely love them both for different reasons. I like my tele clean and my Les Paul dirty.. VERY dirty! Nothing sounds sweeter through a fully cranked Marshall amp!
I've always been a bedroom musician until quite recently when I saw a post from a friend on Facebook who was looking for a singer for their band. I got in touch and went for a jam and was offered the gig. I had the best time playing with legendary local classic rock band Rough Culprits and really caught the bug for gigging. Unfortunately a change in my work circumstances threw a huge spanner into the works and I couldn't make rehearsals anymore so I had to step down.
I'd resigned myself to the reality of being a bedroom legend again until a few months down the line when I got a message from our Craig who said he was putting an Indie covers band together.. everything was in place, they just needed a singer.
I jumped at the opportunity and our first rehearsal was scheduled. We all clicked from the off and I'm really excited to get back out there and show you all what we've been working on in the rehearsal room for the last few weeks!

I first got into music when I was around 8-9 years old, listening to bands like Blink 182 and Sum 41 when I got home from School. I started off playing guitar but decided it wasn’t for me in the end. I picked up bass in secondary school after hearing the band Muse and being really drawn into their bassist and his work, who is still a big influence to me now!
I taught myself to play bass by playing a long to my favourite songs until I got them right note for note, starting the songs over if I made a mistake. It wasn’t until college that I started playing with other people for the first time though and started my first couple of bands. My first 2 bands were college cover bands and we gigged the local pubs and small festivals but those bands folded once college was over. I then started a band which I was in for around 5-6 years which went on to be quite successful, touring the UK multiple times and some of Europe, bagging lots of Radio 1 play and slots at some of the biggest UK festivals such as Reading/Leeds and Isle Of Wight Festival to name a couple.
I left that band during the pandemic to focus on other things and took some time off from music overall, sold all my music gear and thought I was done with music longterm. After a while I decided that I finally want to get back into gigging and music again, I wanted to do so with the right bunch of people and mainly focus on just having fun with music rather than all the stress of being an original band trying to make it big and everything that comes with that.
I got in contact with Will after seeing an advert for Indiestructable seeking a bass player, went down and auditioned for them and got the job. They’re a great bunch of lads with the right attitude and don’t take things too seriously and we’ve been working hard at rehearsals ever since! Excited to get gigging with these lads this summer!
